Single-Actor Resolution Rate(5.2.6)

A closure where the same person who created the issue also closed it, without any other actor contributing, is the most basic form of missing approval. There was no independent review, no second pair of eyes, and no documentation of peer validation. This visual tracks how often this pattern occurs over time so you can see whether solo resolution is increasing or decreasing.

What you can conclude

• A rising solo-close rate over multiple weeks indicates deteriorating approval discipline — more people are resolving their own issues without peer involvement.
• A declining rate indicates that approval culture is strengthening — more closures involve a second actor.
• A consistently low solo-close rate is the target state — most closures involve documented peer participation.

How this chart works

Weekly dual-line chart showing the percentage of delivered closures where the creator also closed the issue (solo close) versus closures involving a different actor. Closures into abandoned-classified statuses are backlog hygiene and are not counted, and a closure whose creator cannot be attributed is excluded from both sides of the rate rather than presented as peer-validated. Use the date and project filters to focus on specific teams or periods.
