This tile watches for sharp week-over-week increases in how often tickets are reopened, project by project. A sudden surge is one of the earliest signals that something shipped broken.

What you can conclude

  • A large single-project jump often traces to a broken change or a regression in a release candidate.
  • Several projects surging together usually points to a systemic event like a deployment or process change.
  • A flat reading suggests reopen behavior is steady and not currently a concern.

How this chart works

The tile compares each project's reopen rate so far this week against last week's rate over the same portion of the week, so both sides cover the same number of days, and flags those with a significant increase. A rate is published only for a week with at least five completions; below that the week is left blank and the comparison is not made.

The week in progress is shown at its rate so far. Its week-over-week change compares that rate with last week's rate over the same portion of the week, so the two sides cover the same number of days.
