Distribution of delivered issues' cycle times, with readouts naming the bucket the median, the 90th-percentile and the 99th-percentile issue falls in. Issues closed into an abandoned or duplicate status are excluded from the buckets and the percentile readouts. The histogram reveals tail risk an average can’t — two teams with the same mean cycle time can have very different distributions. Use the date, project, and priority filters to focus the view.

How this chart works

Vertical bar histogram with one bar per cycle-time bucket (0-1, 1-3, 3-7, 7-14, 14-30, 30-60, 60+ days). Bar height is the number of issues that landed in that bucket. Beneath the chart, three readouts name the bucket holding the median, the 90th-percentile and the 99th-percentile issue, alongside the exact average in days. A bucket is the finest resolution this view supports: combining per-bucket statistics into one day figure per percentile does not produce a percentile, which is how an earlier version of this footer printed near-identical numbers for p50, p90 and p99 at once.

Use the project and priority filters to focus. The view is pre-aggregated so the date filter does not apply.
