Most teams have predictable rhythms — heavier activity at sprint start, lighter at sprint end, or different patterns around release cycles. Understanding these rhythms makes capacity planning more accurate and helps teams anticipate when demand will peak.

This heatmap shows the average event volume for each day-of-week and week-of-month combination so you can see which slots consistently carry the heaviest load.

What you can conclude

• Consistent peaks on specific days indicate predictable demand patterns that can be planned for in advance.
• Low-activity slots that occur consistently may be opportunities for uninterrupted deep work or planned maintenance.
• Understanding seasonality helps teams set realistic expectations for what can be accomplished in any given period.

How this chart works

Heatmap showing average event volume per day-of-week × week-of-month slot. Darker cells indicate consistently higher activity. Each cell averages every occurrence of that slot across the full retained event history, so this is an all-time seasonal profile: the page's date range does not narrow this visual. Use the project filter to build the seasonal pattern for a specific team.

The week in progress is not counted: only complete weeks enter a cell's average, so a slot whose occurrences all fall inside that week is left unmeasured rather than shaded as quiet.
